Leila Moore, PharmD, is a Medical Science Liaison with Acadia Pharmaceuticals' Neuropsychiatry team, where she supports healthcare professional education on the early recognition and treatment of psychosis associated with neurological disorders, including Parkinson's disease. She brings 21 years of experience across clinical practice, pharmacy operations, and medical affairs.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy, Leila spent 18 years with Walgreens, advancing from pharmacy technician to staff Pharmacist to District Manager of Retail and Pharmacy Operations. During that time, she led clinical programs, therapy management initiatives, pharmacy compliance efforts, and advocacy activities through the Tennessee Pharmacists Association.
Before joining Acadia in 2026, Leila served on Novo Nordisk's Neuro Health team, contributing to onboarding mentorship, professional collaborations, congress initiatives, and efforts to advance dementia care and early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. Her work was recognized with the 2024 Mindful Pioneer Award. Leila is passionate about mentorship and developing future healthcare leaders.
