Dr. Alethea Hill is an experienced healthcare professional with nearly three decades as a nurse practitioner and academician, and nearly ten years in the pharmaceutical industry. She currently serves as a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Vertex Pharmaceuticals, focusing on pain management with a novel non-opioid analgesic indicated for moderate-to-severe acute pain across Alabama, Mississippi, and Northwest Florida.
Dr. Hill is recognized for her expertise, providing therapeutic area and clinical knowledge across diverse customer segments and initiatives. She is adept at delivering scientifically supported data to meet healthcare professionals’ medical needs and is a trusted resource for the Vertex Field Medical Affairs team.
Dr. Hill holds a Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing, a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Florida, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She is also a certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the ADA, ANA, AANP, and the Bay Area Nurse Practitioner Association in Mobile, AL.
